Autumnfest – A Pumpkin-Packed Fall Celebration
(2nd Saturday in October)
As summer turns to fall, the Huron Valley Optimists celebrate the season with our annual Autumnfest—a community tradition since around 2008. Held at the Ruggles Farm Market Grand Stand on White Lake Road in White Lake, the event brings together families for a day of pumpkin-themed fun, seasonal treats, and fall activities.
Children and families can enjoy:
- Pumpkin Hunt – Search for the perfect pumpkin to take home
- Pumpkin Painting – Free pumpkins provided by the farm for kids to decorate
- Fall Photo Ops – Pumpkin and Halloween-themed backdrops for memorable pictures
- Bounce Houses, Yard Games & Face Painting – Plenty of fun for all ages
- Free Hot Dogs & Popcorn – Special treats for children
- Seasonal Farm Favorites – Low-cost admission to a corn maze, plus cider, donuts, ice cream, and fresh produce from the Grand Stand (including corn on the cob when in season)
While the location has changed over the years, our love for autumn and community connection remains the same. Autumnfest is the perfect way to welcome the crisp air, vibrant colors, and cozy traditions of fall.
