Charity Poker Fundraisers – Supporting Youth Through Gaming Events

The Huron Valley Optimists are fully approved and registered by the State of Michigan to host raffles, Bingo games, and Charity Poker events. While we’re qualified to organize our own independent poker games, we choose to partner with existing event organizers—participating in up to four Charity Poker events per year.

Working Charity Poker requires no poker experience or special skills. Our volunteers serve as cashiers, selling poker chips to players and managing all cash transactions during the event. It’s a safe, organized environment that allows us to focus on fundraising and community connection.

A portion of the profits from each event’s poker chip sales directly funds our many youth programs and community projects, making every hand played and every chip sold a win for the kids in our community.
